MARJORIE A. POLLOCK

PRINCETON -- Marjorie Abigail "Margie" Pollock, 78, died Friday evening.

Born in Wayne County on Sept. 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Elma Hollowell Aycock. Margie was a long-time resident of Princeton before moving to Wilson.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Jimmy Earp officiating. Burial will follow in the Rains Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Pollock of Smithfield; daughters, Alice Wise of Selma, Margaret Braswell of Princeton, Katie Radford of Selma and Virginia "Bunny" Price of Selma; brother, Alford Aycock of Princeton; sister, Annie Evans of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 until 9 p.m.
