LINDA M. OLSON
Linda McCullen Olson, 61, formerly of East Walnut Street, died Friday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. The Rev. Jimmy Swinson will officiate. Interment on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Olson was born in Wayne County to the late Ralph Leslie and Thelma Estelle Thorton McCullen. She was employed as a CNA with Eastern Homecare Services.
She is survived by five sons, Charles Hicks of California, Carl Hicks of Missouri, Gilbert Allen Olson and Jeff Sumner of Dudley and Ralph LeFate Sumner of Pink Hill; one daughter, Terresa Hicks and fiancé, Terry Hughes, of Dudley; one brother, Mike McCullen of Goldsboro; one sister, Agnes McCullen Weaver of Mount Olive; and two grandchildren, Kyle Sumner and Ethan Olson.
The family will receive friends following the service this evening at Howell Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her daughter, Terresa Hicks, 304 Potts Road in Dudley.
