CHARLES A. KEADLE

DUDLEY -- Charles Arnold Keadle, 67, of 176 Sleepy Creek Dr., died Friday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro. Born in Mitchell County, Georgia, he was the son of the late P.J. and Lula Mae Hayes Keadle. A member of Love Memorial Baptist Church, he was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring after 21 years of service. He received a Bronze Star for his service in Thailand.

Memorial services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church with his nephew, Chaplain Steven White and the Rev. Dave Fishman officiating.

Mr. Keadle is survived by his wife, Sue Pratt Keadle; a daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Robert Barham of Willow Springs and their children, Victoria and Baby due January of 2005; a son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Tasha Keadle of Austin, Texas; three brothers, P.J. Keadle Jr. of Raleigh, Spencer Keadle of Inman, S.C., and Vance Keadle of Waynesboro, Georgia; two sisters, Juanita Adams of Gainesville, Georgia and Nan Gurley of Camilla, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family members will be receiving friends Monday immediately following the services at the Love Memorial Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and at other times at the home.

The family is being served by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory.
