VIOLA COOPER
KENLY -- The funeral for Viola Parker Cooper, 90, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. The Rev. Braxton Creech will officiate. Burial will be in Holly Springs Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper died Thursday at Smithfield Manor.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Herring of Goldsboro; one son, James Ray Cooper of Wilson; one brother, Durwood Parker of Kenly; two sisters, Helen Gifford of Virginia and Evelyn Kunkel of Utah; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
