JAMES FIELDS
James Emmette Fields, 48, of 104 N. Virginia St., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Fields was a native of Wayne County and was the son of the late Emmette Rose Fields and Margaret Marie Barwick Fields Rowe.
He is survived by one sister, Rose Fields O'Quinn, and her husband, Patrick O'Quinn, of Goldsboro; two brothers, Kenneth Fields and wife, Janie Matsey Fields, of Goldsboro and Mark Rowe and his wife, Janie Jackson Rowe, of LaGrange; and his stepfather, V. C. Rowe of Goldsboro; five nephews, Patrick Shane O'Quinn, Jonathan Charles O'Quinn, Keith Britt, Don Bailey and Justin Rowe; his niece, Mariah Fisher, her husband, Jeff, and their daughter, Carssia Fisher; his niece, Cyrstal Boudy, her husband, Joe, and their daughters, Destiny Boudy and Serena Boudy; and his niece, Chelsey Rowe.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 12:30 until 2 at Seymour Funeral Home.
