MARY R. TAYLOR

PIKEVILLE -- Mary Delois Robinson Taylor, 51, of 111 Sunridge Lane, died Friday at home.

Homegoing services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Greater Victory Apostolic Church, 5740 Hwy. 258 South in Snow Hill. Pastor Benjamin F. Bruton will officiate. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor was a native of Wayne County and was the daughter of Luevonia Broadhurst Robinson of Goldsboro and the late Rosell Robinson. She was a member of Greater Victory Apostolic Church where she was an integral part of the Praise Leaders, the Prayer Counselors and the choir and served as a greeter.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Jesse Lee Taylor Jr.; two sons, Gregory Robinson of Queens, N.Y., and Gary Morgan of Charlotte; six brothers, Rosell Robinson Jr. of Tacoma, Wash., Jackie Robinson of Irvington, N.J., Donald Robinson of Pikeville, Lynwood Robinson of Mount Olive, Michael Robinson of Greensboro and James Robinson of Charlotte; five sisters, Priscilla Best of Goldsboro, Gloristeen Isler of Dudley, Carolyn Cox, Brenda Mervin, and Chris Johnson of Goldsboro; and one granddaughter.

The viewing will be held on Wednesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will be there to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. and other times will be at the residence.
