DONALD P. BROOKS
Donald Patrick "Petee" Brooks, 35, of 503 Lynn Avenue, died Monday at New Hanover Regional Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Stanley Brooks.
He is survived by a daughter; Kelsey Brooks of Goldsboro; his father, William Patrick Brooks of Kinston; one brother, Ronald Brooks of Snow Hill; two sisters, Jennifer Whitfield of LaGrange and Wanda Jones of Goldsboro; one nephew, Dewayne Grant; and three nieces, Rhonda Johnson, Brittney Brooks and Katie Brooks.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service Wednesday, and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Whitfield, 3218 New Hope Road, LaGrange.
