MAMIE LEE BROWN
CLINTON -- Mamie Lee Brown, 89, died Saturday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
The funeral was to be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Community Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial was to be in the Devotional Gardens.
Mrs. Brown is survived by four sons, Alfred Haney of Warsaw and Glenn Bass, Ruben Bass and Roscoe Bass Jr. of Clinton; three daughters, Kathy Corbett of Turkey, Rosie Carter of Clinton and Ann Brown of Dunn; one sister, Margaret Barbour of Kenansville; and 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Brown; a son, Carl Haney; and a daughter, Wanda Grey Bass.
The family received friends on Monday night from 7 until 9 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Kathy Corbett, 1921 Waycross Road, Turkey.
