RUTHIE GRICE
CALYPSO — Ruthie Reaves Grice, 75, died today at SunBridge Care Center in Mount Olive.
She was an employee of the former Wilkins Eggs in Mount Olive.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery, with the Rev. Tim Reaves officiating.
Mrs. Grice is survived by a stepson, Nicky Grice of California; two stepdaughters, Sandra Yaun of Leland and Kay Grice of Calypso; two grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Thelma Reaves of Mount Olive; a brother-in-law, Bruce Grice of Goldsboro; and nieces and nephews, Wesley and Carol Reaves of Faison, Eva and Delano Hill of Mount Olive; Elizabeth “Jim” Herring of Mount Olive; Tom and Meg Reaves of Calypso, Richard and Renee´ Reaves of Goldsboro, Connie and Stanley Outlaw of Mount Olive, Dennis and Jill Reaves of Smithfield, Alice and Happy Hazard of Virginia, Linda and B. J. Jennette of Mount Olive, and Carolyn Carter of Goldsboro, and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Grice; her parents, Floyd Wesley and Annie Belle Denning Reaves; a brother, Lloyd W. “Jack” Reaves; and a sister, Sudie B. Cooke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Calypso Presbyterian Church, PO Box 321, Calypso, NC 28325.
