RUTH BARNES
Ruth Barnes, 82, of 209 Shaw Court, died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Willie Barnes Sr. and Emma Haywood Barnes and was a 1940 graduate of Dillard High School.
She is survived by one sister, Eula Hadley of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Centered Church. Apostle Dennis Jacobs will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 8 on Saturday at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro, and the family will be present during the last hour.
