Armed robbers arrive in one stolen car, leave in another

Police are looking into two armed robberies that happened Saturday.
Neither of the victims were injured, but both were held at gunpoint by multiple people.
Police reports indicate the first incident happened around 4 a.m. Saturday.
A man told police he was standing in the yard of 605 Daisy St., when three black men pulled up in a silver Dodge Charger.
Two of them pulled handguns on the man and reportedly said, "Give it up. You know what it is."
The victim then handed over $500. The three men also stole a 2003 Chevrolet Impala from the scene of the robbery.
"The vehicle was not stolen from a person," said Maj. Anthony Carmon, head of the Goldsboro Police Department's Investigative Services Bureau. "It was stolen from where it was parked."
Carmon said he did not know if the suspects split forces and left in both cars, or if they left only in the stolen car.
He added the stolen car was found at 1202 N. Center St. shortly after the robbery.
The victim did not report the incident to police until 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Carmon said he did not know why the victim waited more than 14 hours to report the incident.
In the second incident, three men held one man at gunpoint and stole his wallet and smartphone.
The victim was returning home to his trailer lot at 3118 Central Heights Road at about 10:22 p.m. Saturday when he saw a man standing on his neighbor's steps.
He walked up to the man, and the suspect pulled a handgun and put it to the victim's forehead.
Then two other men came from behind the trailer and one put a gun to the man's neck, and the other put a gun to the man's lower back.
The victim then saw the neighbor who lives at the residence step outside to take his trash out.
The victim reportedly yelled for his neighbor to run, and one of the suspects ran toward the man taking his trash out as he dashed back inside his home and locked the door.
After the victim's neighbor got inside and locked the door, the suspect shattered his kitchen window before running away toward the railroad tracks with the two other suspects.
The victim told police two of the suspects had on black jackets with blue jeans, and the third suspect has on a white shirt and blue shorts.
All three of the men were wearing masks.
