Halloween trick-or-treating in Wayne County and the city of Goldsboro will be held Friday, Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m.
The town of Mount Olive will hold trick-or-treating hours Saturday, Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m.
Officials ask residents who wish to participate in trick-or-treating to leave a porch light on to let parents and children know which houses are handing out candy.

Boo It offers games and activities including pumpkin decorating, a hay ride and trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses. The event, presented by the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corp. and sponsored by Pizza Inn, is free and open to the public. Boo It begins at 4 p.m.

Kids will also get the chance to "trunk-or-treat" by receiving pre-screened candy from decorated vehicles. The Cliffs of the Neuse Halloween event will run from 7-11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29.
