A bullet stuck Firestone Complete Auto Care at 507 N. Berkeley Blvd. on Tuesday sometime around 10 a.m., according to local reports.

Two Firestone employees, who were not on duty during the shooting, pointed out a mark on the metal door hinge where the bullet supposedly stuck.

No one is reported to have heard the gunshot, but a Goldsboro police report states that a person in the business's waiting room did hear a "loud impacting sound from the front of the building."

A bullet shell was found on the concrete walk outside of the main entrance door.

It is currently unclear whether the auto care center was targeted by the unknown shooter or if the bullet was discharged from blocks away and coincidentally struck the building.

At the moment, investigators do not know if the bullet was fired intentionally or accidentally.

The Goldsboro Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
