PREP VOLLEYBALL: Strickland leads WCDS on the road

FAYETTEVILLE -- Katie Strickland flirted with a double-double as Wayne Country Day cranked out a 25-11, 25-11, 25-8 non-conference win over Fayetteville Academy on Monday evening.
Smith provided 10 digs and served seven aces for the Chargers, who earned a straight-set sweep for the 12th time this season.
Lexi Jeffreys pounded out 10 kills. Mia Bolechowski contributed five kills.
Cate Eagles and Shae Odom combined for 13 assists.
Wayne Country Day (13-1 overall) travels to Friendship Christian next Tuesday.
