PREP GIRLS' GOLF: Strickland leads CBA; Fulghum carries Saints

DUDLEY -- Savannah Strickland shot a nine-hole round of 46 to lead Charles B. Aycock to a third-place finish during an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet contested at Southern Wayne Country Club.
Adrien Floars complemented Strickland with a 56, followed by teammate Taylor Smith with a 57. The Golden Falcons' three-player total of 159 was five strokes behind second-place D.H. Conley.
Georgia Fulghum carded a 60 for Southern Wayne, which ended up fifth among the six competing teams with a 186. Caroline Jones and Madison Blizzard each posted a 63.
