SPIVEY'S CORNER -- Spring Creek opened East Central 2-A Conference play with a 4-3, overtime victory over Midway on the Tommy Sloan Stadium pitch.
Ramiro Avila Castaneda, Jose Guadalupe Reynaga Rivas, Kevin Avila and Carlos Mendoza Castro punched in one goal apiece for the Gators.
Avila and Esteban Avila each provided one assist.
SC goalie Angel Vasquez recorded five saves.
The Gators extended their win streak to six games after an 0-3 start.
