PREP VOLLEYBALL: CBA falls at J.H. Rose

GREENVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock dipped to 0-2 on the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference scene after a 13-25, 18-25, 16-25 loss to J.H. Rose on Thursday afternoon.
Sophomore Abbey Thomas emerged as the Golden Falcons' offensive leader with 15 kills. Daelyn Brock and Lydia Butler supplied four kills apiece.
Setters Jenna Oliver and Mckenzie Norris doled out 14 and 10 assists, respectively.
Taylor Gay notched 16 digs, while Brock had 10.
The Golden Falcons (4-6 overall, 0-2 ECC) conclude their current five-match road swing next Tuesday at D.H. Conley.
