After a long absence, Wayne Christian returned to the court and dominated Lawrence Academy 25-20, 25-11, 25-15 on Tuesday evening.
"All of my players played a great game," first-year WCS head coach Jessica Rowe said. "My two seniors, Ashton Cobb and Adelyn Worling, were a dynamic duo at the net with Adelyn assisting and Ashton's kills."
Rowe cited the solid play of Lindsay Stallard, who converted 10 consecutive serves in the second set. She also credited Abi Harrelson, Madison Wells, Leah Boswell, Alyssa James, Grace Buddin, Hannah Jones and Sarah Vinson for jumping in and contributing to the win.
