PREP GIRLS' TENNIS: WCDS stops Harrells Christian 5-4

Wayne Country Day opened its girls' dual-team tennis season with a 5-4, non-conference conquest of Harrells Christian Academy on Wednesday afternoon.
Langley Barnes, Annalise Boros and Cody Stanly each picked up a pro-set (eight-game) singles point on the Wayne Community College courts.
Barnes-Stanly and Grace O'Daniel-Diya Shreenath prevailed at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles, respectively.
The Chargers (1-0 overall) travel to The O'Neal School today. First serve is 3:30 p.m.
