SMITHFIELD -- The North Duplin Rebels evened their record at 1-1 this season after an early-season Carolina 1A tilt versus Neuse Charter on Tuesday.
Armone Anders led the green-and-gold with 15 points, and was complemented on the offensive end by Ricky Cameron and Gage Smith, who finished with 11 points apiece.
Senior forward Luke Britt contributed 12 points, while DJ Simmons (9 points) and William Archer (8 points) rounded out the Rebel scorebook.
The victory came on the heels of the team's 80-34, season-opening setback at Spring Creek on Monday.
North Duplin is scheduled to face James Kenan this evening in Duplin County Christmas Tournament in Calypso.
