ECBL: CBA Blue sweeps doubleheader from Rosewood

Charles B. Aycock Blue swept Rosewood 2-0 and 6-3 in an ECBL twinbill.
In game one, Conner Casey and Logan Merritt led the Eagles' offense with two hits and an RBI apiece. Will Albert batted 1-for-2 with an RBI. Tucker Chapin contributed one hit and one RBI.
Logan Price and Will Harris each provided a hit.
Merritt and Capps combined for a seven-hitter and permitted just one earned run.
In the nightcap, Rosewood (2-4-1 overall) managed just three hits -- one each by Casey, Capps and Conner Vernon. CBA's pitcher sat down six Eagles on strikeouts and allowed just two walks.
Statistics were not provided for CBA.
Rosewood entertains Wayne Country Day on Monday.
