ECBL: WCDS evens slate at 2-2 with win over South Lenoir

Avery Browning turned in a three-hit performance as Wayne Country Day doubled up South Lenoir, 12-6, in an ECBL game contested Thursday evening.
Jack Talton and Caleb Brewer (two RBI) recorded two hits apiece. Case Kermode, Tanner Willman (RBI), Ryan Hopes (three RBI), Will White (RBI) and Ryan Smith (three RBI) each filed one hit in the scorebook.
Kermode, White, Willman, Browning, Brewer and Hopes combined to steal eight bases in nine attempts.
Browning and Talton combined for a five-hitter and 11 strikeouts.
Wayne Country Day (2-2 overall) entertains Eastern Wayne for a doubleheader Monday. First pitch is 4 p.m.
