ECBL: Rosewood's Vernon, Capps go 'yard' against Goldsboro

Conner Vernon and Tanner Capps each swatted home as Rosewood handed Goldsboro a 10-0, five-inning loss on the ECBL scene Wednesday evening.
Will Albert paced Rosewood with two hits, an RBI and scored twice in the mercy-rule win. Harris, Capps (two RBI), Vernon (RBI), Logan Price (two RBI), Carson Hatem (two RBI) and Casey (two RBI) supplied one hit apiece.
Price, Harris and Casey combined for a one-hitter and four strikeouts on the mound.
Cameron Roux collected Goldsboro's lone hit.
