PREP SOFTBALL: Princeton finishes perfect in league play

PRINCETON -- Princeton put the finishing touches on its unbeaten run through Carolina 1-A Conference play with a 7-1 victory over rival Rosewood on Thursday evening.
Toree Marak and Macy Tyndall pounded out two hits apiece for the Eagles. Hailey Weeks batted 1-for-2. Braylee Butts collected two RBI off sac bunts.
RHS manufactured five hits and logged six strikeouts as a team.
The Bulldogs (15-5 overall, 12-0 CC) notched seven hits and capitalized on five walks. Megan Bryant led the charge with three hits and three RBI. Karlyn Woodard delivered two hits.
Riley Whitley ended the night 1-for-2.
