PREP SOFTBALL: Rebels' Santos tosses 2-hitter

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Alyssa Santos tossed a two-hitter as North Duplin handed Carolina 1-A Conference rival Spring Creek a season-ending, 13-0 loss on Thursday evening.
Santos retired 10 Rebels on strikeouts.
Courtney Brock paced the offense with three hits, a double and two RBI. Anna Thornton batted 2-for-3.
Natalie Ramirez, Rayanna Koch (two RBI), Santos (RBI), Brooke Cottle (two RBI) and Kenzi Taylor each contributed a hit.
