PREP TENNIS: Rosewood eliminated in first- and second-round play

GREENVILLE -- Rosewood's Collin Pendergraph-Josh Bartlett captured an opening-round match in the NCHSAA 1-A east regional at River Birch Tennis Center.
The duo defeated East Carteret. Their season ended with a second-round loss to Raleigh Charter.
The Matthews twins -- Kyle and Cole -- were ousted by Raleigh Charter in the first round.
In singles play, Marc Lewis endured a first-round defeat.
Rosewood plays host to Voyager Academy in second-round action of the 1-A dual-team playoffs Tuesday. First serve is 4 p.m.
