PREP GIRLS' SOCCER: Cougars dismantle Rams

Goldsboro polished off its unbeaten campaign in Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference play with a 10-1 thrashing of Greene Central.
Juanita Cortes-Torres punched in three goals for the Cougars, who improved to 16-2-3 overall and finished 8-0-0 against league opposition this season.
Abigail Lewis, Tziah Kelly, Rylie Hales, Anna Prezbindowski, Hannah Williamson, Angelina Nacca and Courtney Sutton provided one goal apiece. Lewis, Shakia Doctor, Nacca and Sutton each doled out an assist.
Kay-Lin Bethune and Selena Morales split time in goal. Bethune stopped one GC shot.
