PREP BASEBALL: Nash Central doubles up SW

DUDLEY -- Nash Central pushed across five second-inning runs and fended off Southern Wayne, 6-3, during non-conference action Thursday evening.
Derek Holsinger (RBI), Aryc Chrisman, Braxton Bradshaw, Justin Edwards and Dylan Whitley provided one hit apiece during the Saints' regular-season finale.
Lance Wise drove in a run.
Jake Casbarro started on the cliff and took the mound loss. The right-hander yielded five earned runs on seven hits and posted six strikeouts in 52/3 innings. Justin Edwards tossed 11/3 innings of two-hit, one-strikeout relief.
