FOOTBALL: North Duplin's Archer tallies career-high 6 TDs

NEWTON GROVE -- Will Archer rushed for a career highs six touchdowns as North Duplin hammered Hobbton, 42-12, in a Carolina 1-A Conference contest Friday evening.
Archer accumulated 186 yards rushing on 30 carries. His touchdown runs covered a modest 2, 4, 1, 3, 1 and 1 yard. The quarterback completed a 3-yard pass to Dylan Jones.
Kenny Sheppard supplied 50 yards on 17 rushes. Colby Bass rushed for 91 yards on 14 carries.
Colby Craig ended the night 6-for-6 on PAT attempts.
The Rebels (5-4 overall, 3-1 CC) face Spring Creek on Friday.
