VOLLEYBALL: Chapel Hill eliminates C.B. Aycock from 3A playoffs

CHAPEL HILL -- Arlanda Faulkner delivered a 14-kill performance as Charles B. Aycock suffered a season-ending 25-19, 25-15, 25-16 loss to perennial power Chapel Hill in third-round action of the N.C. High School Athletic Association playoffs.
Cyerra Carter added six kills.
Libero Cassandra Lassiter emerged as the Golden Falcons' defensive leader with 17 digs. Mookie Powell contributed 13 digs. Faulkner and Hannah Carter supplied 12 digs apiece.
Carter notched 18 assists.
C.B. Aycock concluded the season 18-8 overall.
