ROSE HILL -- Earl Gibson Jr. rushed for two touchdowns during Princeton's 43-14, non-conference loss to unbeaten Union on Friday evening.
Gibson Jr. scored on runs of 4 and 53 yards for the Bulldogs, who endured their fourth consecutive loss of the season.
The Spartans (4-0 overall) scored at least one touchdown in each quarter. They beat the Bulldogs for the third time in their last four meetings and 16th time overall in the series that started in 1972, but was discontinued on several occasions.
Princeton launches its 2016 Carolina 1-A Conference schedule at home Friday against 2015 league co-champion James Kenan. The injury-riddled Tigers have lost three straight games.
