GIRLS' TENNIS: Princeton dominates Spring Creek

Princeton swept the doubles courts and cruised past Spring Creek, 8-1, on Thursday afternoon.
Emily Shallington, Mackenzie Evans, Cailee Vetrano, Jasmine Rubio, Lauren Lawhon and Katherine Leslie each earned a singles point. Shallington turned back the Gators' Ivey Rouse 7-6 (5), 1-6, 1-0 (10-8) at the No. 1 flight.
Vetrano won 7-6 (3), 6-1 at the No. 3 flight.
Vetrano-Rubio and Lawhon-Leslie each won in doubles.
Spring Creek's No. 1 tandem of Rouse-Amanda Haggerty handed Shallington-Evans a 10-2 defeat.
