UMO: Trojan women place 2nd at Cutter Creek Invitational

SNOW HILL -- University of Mount Olive junior Julia Kaeding finished third among individual players with a 7-over-par 151 during the two-day Cutter Creek Invitational hosted by Barton College.
Freshman Matilda Wahren shared 11th place with a 157. Junior Paula Guiridi (159) tied for 14th, while Linn Bergman posted a 164.
Rosewood graduate Lindsey Burton contributed a 177.
The Trojans posted a 36-hole team score of 631 -- good enough for second place behind Invitational champion UNC Pembroke (621).
UMO returns to action Sept. 24 for the Battle at the Old South in Hilton Head, S.C.
