Chargers' Godo, Strickland combine for two home runs

Jack Talton threw a complete-game three-hitter as Wayne Country Day claimed a 12-0, mercy-rule victory over Community Christian on Tuesday afternoon.
Talton logged three strikeouts during his 58-pitch outing.
Amane Godo belted a three-run home run and collected four RBI, while John Strickland smacked a solo homer. Patrick Hall and Drew Barnes (RBI) provided two hits apiece.
Case Kermode (RBI), Parker Smith, Tanner Willman and Jacob Magera each had one it.
The Chargers (2-0-1 overall) entertain Halifax Academy on Friday, and face Southampton (Va.) Academy on Saturday.
