SPIVEY'S CORNER -- Kaitlyn Kincaid batted 3-for-4 at the plate as Rosewood fell to Midway in non-conference play Monday evening.
A final score was not given.
Keelin Hunter contributed two hits, including at triple. The remainder of the team combined for 10 hits. Freshman Braylee Butts had a stolen base.
RHS left 10 runners on base.
"Kaitlyn picked one heck of a game," Eagles head coach Shay Campbell said. "The defense was much improved, but we still made some mistakes. Offensively, we had more hits than last game, but we are far from where I want us to be and where we need to be."
Midway capitalized on four errors.
The Eagles launch their Carolina 1-A Conference season at home Thursday against Hobbton.
