Spring Creek girls lose heart-breaker on last-second shot

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Neuse Charter converted an offensive putback as time expired, and escaped "The Swamp" with a 53-52 victory over Carolina 1-A Conference foe Spring Creek on Tuesday evening.
Tysha Teachey led the Gators with 13 points, 12 rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals. Destiney Sutton recorded 17 points, four assists, three blocked shots and five steals.
The Gators (2-8 overall, 1-2) play host to Princeton on Friday.
