North Duplin girls drop conference opener

SMITHFIELD -- Destiny George scored 10 points as North Duplin launched its Carolina 1-A Conference campaign with a 64-29 loss to Neuse Charter on Tuesday evening.
Rylee Pate and Alyssa Santos scored five points apiece. Shaily McCarty chipped in three points. Courtney Brock, Taylor Walker and Kenzie Taylor each had two points.
The Rebels (1-3 overall) entertain Lejeune today.
