Pate drops in 24 points, ND girls snap skid

CALYPSO -- Rylee Pate poured in a career- and season-high 24 points as North Duplin turned back Lejeune, 56-52, in non-conference action Wednesday evening.
The Rebels snapped a four-game losing streak.
Courtney Brock added 19 points for North Duplin, which outscored the Devilpups 23-13 in the final quarter. Shaily McCarty contributed eight points.
Alyssa Santos (three points) and Samantha Frolich (two) also scratched in the scorebook.
North Duplin (1-4 overall) entertains Lakewood today.
