La GRANGE -- Charles B. Aycock exacted a little revenge and nearly walked away with clean worksheet during a three-team, non-conference dual meet at North Lenoir on Tuesday evening.
The Golden Falcons upended Southern Nash 41-34 and endured a 39-38 loss to North Lenoir.
Austin Doyle, Nick Smith, Tyler Marquard, heavyweight Randy Floars and Josh Wallace each defeated their respective opponent in the Southern Nash match. Wallace remained unbeaten on the season.
Wallace, Floars, Chase Hapes and Doyle each picked up an individual victory against the host Hawks.
"(A) great match and I was really proud of our team tonight," Aycock head coach RJ Allen said. "They showed great teamwork and did not go to their back except on a few matches. This young team is getting between each week and looking forward to out match this Thursday at Fike."
