South Central topples CBA in ECC 3A-4A volleyball

PIKEVILLE -- South Central turned back Charles B. Aycock 25-18, 25-13, 25-17 in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference match Thursday afternoon.
Arlanda Faulker and Alexis Bynum cranked out five and four kills, respectively, for the Golden Falcons. Hannah Carter dished out eight assists, while Mookie Powell passed out three assists.
Sydney Schmeltzer paced the defense with 19 digs, while Carter collected 13 digs. CBA had 64 digs as a team.
Hunter Tillman served three aces.
