Jackson spearheads Eagles' offense with three assists

Matt Jackson passed out three assists and collected a goal during Wayne Christian's 7-0 triumph over Carolina Christian 1-A Conference foe Cresset Christian on Thursday evening.
Jackson assisted on goals by Matthew Coulter, Jaxon Anderson and Nathanael Younge. Jackson's lone goal was unassisted.
Coulter, Graham Fussell and Micah O'Hara each supplied one goal during the Eagles' regular-season finale. Coulter and Holden Foster each posted one assist.
Keeper Mason White logged eight saves between the pipes.
Wayne Christian travels to Neuse Christian on Saturday for an opening-round game in the season-ending CCC tournament.
