Aycock's Sauls emerges as co-medalist in ECC 3A-4A golf meet

NEW BERN -- Charles B. Aycock's Abby Sauls and New Bern's Caroline Bryant shared medalist honors with a 41 during an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet played on the Emerald Golf Club links on Tuesday afternoon.
Leah Campbell and Anna Williams complimented Sauls with nine-hole scores of 47 and 51. Savannah Strickland (56), Samantha Castorena (59) and Nicole Prince (61) each helped the Golden Falcons finish eight strokes behind New Bern in team competition.
D.H. Conley ended up third at 152, followed by Southern Wayne (172) and South Central (186).
