8-MAN FOOTBALL -- Wayne Christian wins first-ever game in school history

Will White rushed for a career-high and school-record 237 yards and four touchdowns during Wayne Christian's 44-18 triumph over Lawrence Academy in 8-man football action Thursday evening.
It was the Eagles' first-ever win in program history.
A ninth-grader, White toted the pigskin just nine times on the night. His touchdown runs covered 20, 80, 7 and 60 yards. He also threw an 84-yard touchdown pass to Jaxon Bauer.
Kody Beddard rambled for a 52-yard touchdown.
Gavin Wiley rushed for 20 yards. Maddox Johnson hauled in one reception for 16 yards.
Wayne Christian (1-2 overall) entertains Community Christian next Thursday. Kickoff is 6 p.m.
