WCDS dominates Freedom on tennis courts

FAYETTEVILLE -- Wayne Country Day dropped just three games in nine contested matches during its 9-0 triumph over Freedom Christian on Tuesday afternoon.
Gianna Democko, Jennifer Potts, Ally Willman, Eliza Eagles, Langley Barnes and Margaux Pope each posted a shutout, pro-set (eight-game) win in singles.
The tandems of Democko-Potts, Willman-Eagles and Barnes-Pope completed the sweep in doubles.
Wayne Country Day (9-1 overall) continues its current six-match road swing today at St. Mary's in Raleigh.
