Pittard has 21-kill outing in Goldsboro's road win

KINSTON -- Becka Pittard pounded out 21 kills as Goldsboro defeated Kinston 25-14, 25-20, 26-28, 27-25 during Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference play Tuesday evening.
Pittard also served seven aces for the Cougars. Matti Rose Lyon dished out 18 assists and collected six aces. Riley Howell and Marcy Taylor recorded seven and six aces, respectively.
Goldsboro (3-11 overall, 1-1 ECC) visits South Lenoir on Thursday.
