Chargers fall to Freedom in volleyball

Stephanie Schappell served three aces and collected two kills during Wayne Country Day's 9-25, 13-25, 12-25 loss to Freedom Christian on the Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference scene Tuesday afternoon.
Dekiya Thomas provided eight assists.
The Chargers (3-15 overall, 0-2 CPIC) travel to Wayne Christian on Thursday.
