Still perfect.
Unbeaten Rosewood sealed the overall outcome in singles and cruised past Princeton, 7-2, in a Carolina 1-A Conference girls' tennis match on a breezy and mostly cloudy Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles rose to 12-0 overall this season.
"(The) girls played very strong today and have played well all of this season," RHS head coach Alan Cuddington said.
Faith Baker, Shayla Marak, Keelin Hunter, Laura Lintner and Bethany Kirby each prevailed on their respective singles court. Marak, one of two seniors in the starting lineup, bounced back to defeat the Bulldogs' Bailey Martin 7-6, 5-7, 6-2.
Emily Shallington collected Princeton's lone singles point.
Lintner-Marak and Kirby-Victoria Hill each picked up a doubles point for the Eagles.
Princeton triumphed at No. 1 doubles.
Rosewood returns home Monday to face North Johnston.
