Rebels notch 2 doubles points, defeat Spring Creek

North Duplin prevailed at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles, and eased past Spring Creek, 6-3, in a Carolina 1-A Conference match Tuesday afternoon.
The Rebels' No. 1 tandem of Julissa Quintanilla-Hannah Smith defeated the Gators' Grace West-Cassie Alphin 8-3. The No. 2 duo of Taylor Dilday-Casey Whitted stopped SC's Kristin Alphin-Ivey Rouse 8-2.
Quintanilla, Dilday, Smith and Whitted each picked up a straight-set win in doubles for North Duplin.
Rouse and Chloe Davis each earned a singles point for the Gators. Davis teamed up with Maygan Jackson to claim the No. 3 doubles match.
