Carroll, Ecklund pace Bulldogs on the road

SALEMBURG -- Defending state 1-A champion Princeton handed Lakewood a 25-18, 25-20, 25-13 defeat in Carolina 1-A Conference play Tuesday afternoon.
Taylor Carroll cranked out six kills and served six aces for the once-beaten Bulldogs, who remained perfect in seven league outings this season. Daisey Ecklund contributed 10 kills and three blocks.
Princeton (11-1 overall, 7-0 CC) entertains James Kenan on Thursday.
