NCISAA 1A golf: Wayne Christian's Floars finishes state runner-up

PINEHURST -- Wayne Christian's Blake Floars finished state runner-up individual play and earned all-state honors during the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association Class 1-A boys' championship meet.
Floars shot a 36-hole total of 154.
The Eagles -- who received contributions from Ethan McKenzie, Maciah Singletary and Drake Wise -- posted a team score of 800.
Wayne Country Day shot an 802.
